When a birthday, holiday or "just because" occasion rolls around and you need a gift for a fun person, make it a more than fun - make it a gift they'll talk about for ages to come.
Many people get one serious gift and one gag gift for their favorite fun person on their gift giving list. Some of the old standby pranks still work like a charm. Exploding cigarette loads still get 'em every time; innocent looking everyday items such as disposable lighter and writing pens that deliver a shock are also still good harmless pranks to pull. Give someone a pen that will shock them along with a more serious gift of some custom-made stationary. The gadget happy people in your life are also fun to buy for. For the budding party DJ, they can create their own light show with a fun gadget that plugs into their iPod or MP3 player. Other fun gadgets you can get a squeal of delight (or otherwise) include a tiny remote controlled helicopter that can buzz in and buzz out, a remote control tarantula that looks creepily real as it crawls along and the Flying Alarm Clock will force even the laziest person out of bed. Make your vegetarian friend gag with a bacon gift pack that can include gummy bacon, bacon breath mints and top it off a cool bacon wallet - with what else - a promise to make them unlimited bacon sandwiches! Be prepared for a "get back" from your friend in the form of all your meat products missing and replaced with tofu or other form of food warfare. A word of caution about giving prank and gag gifts. You may be the recipient of gag gifts yourself after you start giving them, so open your own presents with care or you might be in line to be on the receiving end of the next prank pulled. But that's okay, you can always get whoever did it back, right? by: WasteSomeCash

Gag gifts are usually inexpensive novelty items intended to get a laugh, but if your sensibilities find the laugh worth more than a few dollars, you can also find gag gifts for more money.
Often a gag gift is an impulsive buy when something funny instantly brings a friend or family member to mind. It could be anything from bacon wallet to a elephant cigarette dispenser. There doesn't have to be an occasion to present someone with a gag gift, because they can brighten any day. Kids often like gag gifts that double as pranks, finding fun in mild shock and good-hearted embarrassment. Like the shocking pen, or shock lighter. The innocent looking pillow otherwise known as the whoopee cushion, "fake poop," the PARTY POOPER, or a humorous pair of gigantic underwear. The classic hand buzzer prank (concealed in the palm it delivers a shock when shaking hands), has been around for years. Gag gifts are often chosen when a gift is appropriate but the recipient is a mere acquaintance. For example, an office party for a retiring employee may require a little present, even if you don't know the person very well. Getting something useful, like a Robot Calculator Organizer, makes the gift appear to have more value and be more thoughtful. Bringing a laugh from the crowd as it's opened adds a bit of joy to what would otherwise be a mere office gift. When giving a gag gift make sure the gag won't hurt the recipient's feelings. Gags related to someone's special talents or hobbies are usually a big hit, but gags meant to highlight shortcomings or faults - even if the person is aware of those faults or shortcomings — will probably make them feel bad. Giving a over the hill parking permit to someone who's worried about turning 40 would not be kind. However, giving it to someone who has always been joking with everyone else could be very funny. For a few gift ideas consider these: * For the friend who's always bragging about his or her golf game, gag golf balls will do just about anything but what's expected. Pull a switch and wait for the laughs! * Know a girl who just can't live without her sushi? Consider the "sushi shower curtain" for her bathroom. Its a life size shower curtain with different pieces of sushi on it. * Is there someone at the office who's always helping themselves to the goodies you keep on your desk? Get him an office pranks! * Have a friend who considers himself a huge meat eater? Get him a funny bacon and meat gag gifts! * Have a friend that just loves his brand of beer? How about a beer box cowboy hat supporting his favorite brew! Gag gifts can be a lot of fun for just a little money. And laughter - the best gift of all - is priceless. So purchase your gag gifts with us and make us happy too!! Thanks, WASTESOMECASH.COM Labels: gag-gifts by: WasteSomeCash |
