When a birthday, holiday or "just because" occasion rolls around and you need a gift for a fun person, make it a more than fun - make it a gift they'll talk about for ages to come.

Many people get one serious gift and one gag gift for their favorite fun person on their gift giving list. Some of the old standby pranks still work like a charm. Exploding cigarette loads still get 'em every time; innocent looking everyday items such as disposable lighter and writing pens that deliver a shock are also still good harmless pranks to pull. Give someone a pen that will shock them along with a more serious gift of some custom-made stationary.

The gadget happy people in your life are also fun to buy for. For the budding party DJ, they can create their own light show with a fun gadget that plugs into their iPod or MP3 player. Other fun gadgets you can get a squeal of delight (or otherwise) include a tiny remote controlled helicopter that can buzz in and buzz out, a remote control tarantula that looks creepily real as it crawls along and the Flying Alarm Clock will force even the laziest person out of bed.

Make your vegetarian friend gag with a bacon gift pack that can include gummy bacon, bacon breath mints and top it off a cool bacon wallet - with what else - a promise to make them unlimited bacon sandwiches! Be prepared for a "get back" from your friend in the form of all your meat products missing and replaced with tofu or other form of food warfare.

A word of caution about giving prank and gag gifts. You may be the recipient of gag gifts yourself after you start giving them, so open your own presents with care or you might be in line to be on the receiving end of the next prank pulled. But that's okay, you can always get whoever did it back, right?
